Pastor Shanika Wagner

Founder of Lady Neek Ministries

“Let the high praises of God be heard!” This is the motto of Shanika Wagner, a gospel singer-songwriter, entrepreneur, coauthor, and pastor. Born into a family where music and singing were a source of joy, Shanika started singing when she was just two years old. However, certain traumatic events caused her to become a timid and introverted child, and she wouldn't sing in public. She struggled with social anxiety until the age of 17 when she gave her life to Christ.

After becoming a Christian, Shanika's confidence started to build, not in skill, but in the anointing of God. She is now a licensed and ordained pastor under her current pastors, Apostle Bryan Andrew Wilson and Prophetess Tiffany Wilson, and her church Freedom of Atlanta. She currently serves as Pastor over the virtual campus.

Musically, Shanika has written for and recorded with the National Capital Baptist Convention Choir for their first project, “Reaching the World for Jesus.” She is also a well-known participant in the National I.R.O.C.K. choir and singing group 3Fold Praise. In September 2018, she released her debut single titled "All Hail the King" and her follow-up single "Cornerstone" on September 9, 2020. Shanika is also a two-time Kingdom Image Award winner.

Besides her music, Shanika is also an accomplished actress and a phenomenal cook. She has an entrepreneurial spirit and has operated several businesses including an afterschool and summer camp Auntie Nika's Faith Summer Bible Camp, an online T-shirt boutique called Lady Neek’s Treasures,  a food delivery service named Auntie Nika’s Soul Food, and Auntie Nika's Poundcake and Treats.

She has a heart for worship and a calling to share healing, strength, and encouragement with other women through Lady Neek Ministries. Shanika has collaborated with local churches and organizations in nearby Washington DC, to prepare and serve food for the House of Ruth Women’s Shelter in Washington, DC, as well as a men’s shelter in Capitol Heights, MD. She participates constantly in food distribution with the St. Teresa’s of Avila Parish in Washington, DC. Her first love is children, and she often runs social media fundraisers for No Kid Hungry. Recently she started a food drive initiative  in the Atl, GA region called "Box of Blessings: Food Drive."

Shanika believes in activating faith through kingdom works (James 2:14) and loving others as Christ has loved us (John 13:34-35).  Shanika is on a mission to bring healing and deliverance to hurting souls wherever her feet shall tread. Her constant prayer is that God's presence will overtake her so that lives will be changed as she gives him the Glory through worship and service to others. May His will be done!
